No. Nixall® products are very different than bleach. Nixall® main ingredient, hypochlorous acid, is a different oxychlorine species that is dissimilar from sodium hypochlorite (which is bleach). Nixall® Wound + Skin Solution and other Nixall products are very different than bleach. Nixall® Wound + Skin Solution and the Nixall® products pH are in a neutral range just like the pH of the dermal layer of all humans. Bleach solution or “Dakins Solution” are of a very high pH, are not shelf stable, and have to be used quickly.

Nixall® Wound + Skin Solution, and Nixall® VetResponse® products currently have a shelf life of 18 months. Nixall® Cleanser has a shelf life of 12 months. Nixall® Disinfectant/Sanitizer, has a shelf life of 30 days. Read the product label for specific shelf life. We add no carcinogenic preservatives, unlike competitive products. Keep all Nixall® solutions out of direct sunlight and do not freeze. After use keep the container sealed.
